Our Clinicians

Hannah MichahellesAssociate Marriage & Family Therapist

Associate Therapist

I offer therapy for individual adults, parents, children and teens. With experience as a parent, teacher, mindfulness instructor, and group therapist for incarcerated individuals, I offer a client-centered approach to therapy that’s thoughtfully tailored to each individual or family.

Drawing from multiple modalities such as EMDR, trauma-informed mindfulness, parts-work, CBT and DBT, we will collaboratively discover what works best for you.
I’m continually inspired by the growth I’ve witnessed in my clients and students and through my own therapeutic journey. I am grateful to do this work—to be invited into the innermost experiences of my clients, and to meet them with humor, warmth, and understanding.

I currently offer therapy in-person in the Richmond district of San Francisco and virtually from anywhere in CA. You can learn more about me at my website: www.hannahmichahelles.com

Jordan PelotLic. Marriage & Family Therapist

Executive Director, Supervisor

In therapy I act as a compassionate collaborator, working alongside my clients to foster self acceptance. Whether dealing with trauma, transitions, relationships, or a mental illness, I balance providing a safe holding space for challenging emotions with formulating concrete action plans. These include developing healthy coping skills and routines, communicating needs to others, fostering connections, and ultimately exploring what makes you thrive.
My approach incorporates mindfulness whenever possible, and I am trained in EMDR. I have several years’ experience working with adults and youth suffering from mental illness and dual diagnosis in community health settings, as well as post-college adults trying to find their next step. You can view more about me at my website: www.jordanpelot.com

My sliding scale slots reserved for under $120 are currently full. I have limited availability for income based scale between $120 and $180/per session. I also have limited availability for those with Sonoma County Partnership/ Medi-Cal and Medicare

Dr Thomas MichahellesLicensed Marriage & Family Therapist

Supervisor

I work with individual adults of all ages as well as with couples: I like to listen to you, metaphorically speaking, with two ears: what you say and how you say it. I like to understand your internal make-up and the dynamics of your interpersonal relationships. I also want to understand with you how it all fits together. Perhaps, through collaborative curiosity, I can help you alter habits from back then that don’t serve you in the here and now of your life at this time. I believe that relationships to yourself and others are critically important.
I want to create a therapeutic relationship with you that will provide you with an environment that makes you feel safe, understood, and taken care of in order to facilitate your taking the risk to reveal and express yourself so that you can deepen your understanding of yourself.
I believe that therapy needs to be guided by theory which is there to serve you — it is not that one theory is right; rather, theories offer us different perspectives, (like maps) and I like to use the one that might be helpful to you in dealing with your challenges.
